(P521) Similar Hypoglycemia Duration with Once-weekly Insulin icodec versus degludec or glargine U100 in Insulin-treated T2D: a Post hoc CGM Analysis from ONWARDS 2 and 4

Icodec is a once-weekly basal insulin with a long half-life and is currently under development. The aim of this post hoc analysis was to investigate the duration of hypoglycemia in adults with T2D who switched from a daily basal insulin regimen to either once weekly icodec or a once-daily comparator (degludec or glargine U100). Continuous glucose monitoring data was used from the ONWARDS 2 and ONWARDS 4 phase 3a clinical trials. Analysis of this data revealed a similar duration of hypoglycemic episodes with no apparent clustering in patients using icodec vs degludec or glargine U100 during both the switch (weeks 0 -4) and steady-state (weeks 22-26) periods.
