(P608) National Trends in CDCES Distribution: Data from T1D Exchange Quality Improvement Collaborative

Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES) provide a crucial role in education, understanding patients' needs and preferences, and providing person-centered support. The T1D Exchange Quality Improvement Collaborative (T1DX-QI) is a national network of 54 T1D centers and five T2D centers, implementing QI to improve outcomes for people with diabetes. There is limited data on CDCES FTE distribution in major academic centers. This poster reviews a study to determine if there are differences in CDCES FTE distribution across major academic medical centers using the T1DX-QI Annual Clinic Survey, which was open from August - November 2022 in multiple pediatric and adult centers.
