There is no one-size-fits-all treatment for hypoglycemia. There are many variables that influence recovery from hypoglycemia. This session will review variables including glucose level, rate of decline, body size, food and insulin on board, AID system adjustments, climate considerations, and rate of digestion so that clinicians can tailor the treatment to the individual (and the situation). The presenter will give an overview of the latest treatment options for mild, moderate, and severe hypoglycemia.
