Do you struggle in your virtual diabetes care visits with patients who are using diabetes technology? Are you unsure how to efficiently gather or connect with your patient's data on different platforms? Diabetes technology and virtual visits both offer many benefits to patients. To be most effective, healthcare providers need to be able to access the data to best collaborate with the patient. This session will discuss the reality of supporting patients using diabetes technology in virtual diabetes care and education visits. Case studies highlighting how to access and configure diabetes technology while collaborating with patients will be woven throughout. Resources to support healthcare providers with diabetes technology virtual visits and strategies for navigating challenges will be shared.
