The approved closed-loop pumps on the market today all have different ways of adjusting insulin settings according to the learner's scope of practice in order to affect change to the algorithm. This presentation will cover how to adjust pump settings based on glucose data, and which lever to pull in order to get the desired result. In addition, most closed-loop pump algorithms are hard to understand and proprietary. Therefore, current insights into how the algorithms work will be discussed in order to help the learner understand the "why" of practice.
