Mr. Perry is co-founder and current board chair of the Diabetes Leadership Council. After he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 1990, Mr. Perry became a tireless champion for people, advocating at the state and national levels, and holding leadership roles with several national diabetes organizations.
