What if your patient was convicted of a crime and required to report to federal prison? How does living with diabetes affect people in correctional environments differently from the general population? Incarcerated persons living with diabetes must navigate unique challenges, and yet, there are also specific opportunities to improve and successfully return to the community. This session will explore how pharmacists in the Federal Bureau of Prisons identify and close gaps in the standards of care. This session is only available during the On-Demand conference starting Monday, August 21 - Monday, October 30.
