Many people with diabetes and high blood pressure also have chronic kidney disease, and many have experienced acute kidney injury. These complicating factors make it challenging to maintain the delicate balance of safe and effective pharmacotherapy used to manage blood pressure. This session will provide clinical guideline updates along with a case-based discussion of blood pressure management strategies when treating people with hypertension, diabetes, and kidney disease.
