Hearing loss is common, so it is important for DCES to be familiar with treatment options and understand their role in screening and referring their patients. This session will focus on treatments for hearing loss, including FDA-approved devices and new over-the-counter options following a brief overview of the prevalence and pathophysiology of hearing loss in people with diabetes.
