Do you understand how legislative rulemaking impacts the population you serve and your role in making sure the way laws are implemented meets the needs of those the laws are intended to help? This session will familiarize attendees with current tools and programs that are available to help address barriers to quality care such as costs as advocates for people with diabetes. The presenters will show attendees how to uncover if diabetes-related legislation is happening in their state and how to take action.
