S09 - Benefit From the Diabetes Technology Decision Support Provided by PANTHERTools

Although there is a plethora of educational resources available on diabetes technologies, practical resources that support clinical care are lacking. Diabetes technology experts at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes created PANTHERTools (accessible at no cost at pantherprogram.org) to fill this gap. PANTHERTools provide a systematic approach to clinical assessment, dose adjustments, and device education to help clinicians provide quality diabetes care for device users without needing to be an expert on each device. This presentation will educate healthcare providers on how they can use the PANTHERTools in their practice, including small group work to provide an opportunity for hands-on practice using the PANTHERTools to work through case examples.
